Ceramic and photography
During my stay at the Second International Meeting of Visual Artists in Viano do Castelo, I produced two ceramic pieces representing Spain and Portugal. These pieces, simulating two rocks, were exposed to the pounding waves of the Atlantic Ocean near Playa Amorosa, buffeted by the winds and tides, in substitution of these two countries, brothers of the Iberian Peninsula. In this project we wanted to enhance the idea of borders between European countries, how political divisions influence humans. Despite these boundaries, people can cross from to country to country, like birds who do not understand imaginary lines. Iberian Dream is a reconciliation between humans and the land.
